We will be having a geocaching activity for all troop members Saturday, January 9th at 10:00 at the Atlanta Area Council Service Center, 1800 Circle 75 Pkwy SE. This is not a council activity but an event being conducted for our troop members. The event should only last about one hour. We will be completing a Geocaching Adventure Lab which will be a brief, fun, outdoor activity.
Participation in the event will qualify for completion of First Class Requirement #4b and/or a troop event to be applied toward Second Class 1a or First Class 1a.
You can also do it just to take part in an Adventure Lab, a new type of geocaching activity. You will need access to a smartphone for this activity or will need to partner with someone with a smartphone. To save time on Saturday, download the Geocaching Adventure Lab app and set up a user profile before you come. Dress warmly as we will be outside for the entire event.
