Shotgun Shooting - Big Red Oak Plantation

Introduction to shotgun shooting will be taught by a NRA Certified Shotgun Instructor & Range Safety Officer. We will shoot clay targets using 20 gauge and 12 gauge shotguns on the 5-stand course. Primitive Camping on plantation property. Bring personal safety glasses and hearing protection.

Scouts should travel in Class A uniforms!
TRAILER PULLER: We need an adult volunteer to pull the trailer.
MEALS: All meals will be planned at the Wednesday campout planning meeting using the patrol method.
ADULT PARTICIPATION: We need adults to attend this campout to help supervise activities. Adults must be current with Youth Protection certification. This course may be taken online at www.scouting.org/training/adult.
HEALTH FORMS are required for all and YPT is required for all adults.
FEE: Scouts: $60 - Camping & Shooting Fee Adults: $30 - Shooting Fee (no fee if just camping)
