The troop will be camping at the Cloudland Canyon State Park Primitive Camp Sites 1 & 2. You have the choice to either Hike or Mountain Bike on this campout.HIKING: Bring a daypack, snacks, rain gear and water for an afternoon hike. Hiking boots are recommended.MOUNTAIN BIKING -All bicyclists MUST have a mountain bike with multiple gears in good working order and MUST wear Helmets that are properly fitted. Please inspect your bicycle prior to arrival on Saturday. You will need to transport your own bicycle. We will be following the guidance of the CDC and the GA Dept. of Health. We ask the following: Prior to departure, make sure you have no signs or symptoms of illness and have not been around anyone who is ill for at least 14 days.Remember the "Three W's" - WASH (or sanitize) hands frequently, WEAR your mask, and WATCH your distance (at least 6 feet apart).We will be wearing masks when social distancing is not possible. Please bring your own mask and expect to wear it.TRANSPORTATION:We will meet at the church on Saturday morning to gather gear & take roll.The troop is NOT able to offer/coordinate carpool transportation during the pandemic. Each Scout will need to arrange its own transportation.Scouts from Troop 370 should always travel in Class A uniformsMEALS :All meals will be planned at the Wednesday campout planning meeting using the patrol method.Patrols will plan for lunch & dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. Each patrol will be required to prepare one meal using a Dutch oven.The Troop may stop for lunch on Sunday, so please remember to bring money.ADULT PARTICIPATION:We need adults to attend this campout and help lead ability groups, camp setup & meal preparation.Adults must be current with Youth Protection certification.
