Parent Tutorial – Camping with Troop 370: The Anatomy of a Campout. Join us at about 7:50 pm on Wednesday, September 22nd to discuss what happens on a weekend campout with the Troop. We’ll talk about on-line campout registration, “campout planning” that occurs on the Wednesday before a trip, buying the food (and reimbursement), packing the trailer on Saturday morning, and a typical campout itinerary. We’ll also discuss some of the equipment that the Troop provides (e.g., tents, tarps, stoves and cooking utensils) and highlight personal gear that may make life easier for your Scout on a typical weekend campout.
