The troop will camp Friday night at Benjamin Hawkins Scout Camp near Macon and depart Saturday morning for the GA coast. Plan for cold weather camping on Friday night. We will camp Saturday and Sunday at Skidaway State Park in Savannah. Savannah Canoe & Kayak www.savannahcanoeandkayak.com will guide us on Sunday through the gorgeous Ebenezer Creek, a black water swamp, lined with historic cypress and tupelo trees in single and double kayaks. This is a favorite Troop 370 paddle experience you won't want to miss.
Closed toe shoes are requiredNo Flip Flops. It is January and temps can vary considerably, particularily on the water. Bring shorts, zipoff pants, long sleeve sunshirt, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses & water bottle and plan to dress accordingly for the paddle excursion.
