God and Life at St. James UMC
The God and Life program is a part of Scouts BSA, and a way for scouts to earn their religious emblem. This is the curriculum for High School Scouts or any scouts that are a part of the venturing program. This program is targeted for all Protestant Christians, or those who are curious about Protestantism. We will meet in the St. James Youth Room from 4-5pm on Sunday afternoons for 5 sessions: March 6, March 13, March 20, March 27, and April 10. There will be activities for you to complete in the workbook each week, and at the end of the program you will be awarded your emblem. Ultimately, this program is designed for you to discover your duty to God as follower of Jesus Christ. I hope that you will join us each week. The total cost is $10 to help offset the cost of the workbook and the awards.
Lastly, each week (except March 27), the youth group of St. James will meet for dinner, games, and a devotional, and we would love for you to join us! If you have any questions, please reach out to C.J. Lord at [email protected].
