WHERE:Apple Island - Lake Hartwell, SCBig Water MarinaStarr, SCDEPARTURE TIME:Saturday, May 14, 2022, 7:30 am - St. James Activities BuildingRETURN TIME:Sunday, May 15, 2022, 2:00 pm - St. James Activities Building Scouts are required to travel in Class A uniforms DESCRIPTION:Apple Island - The troop will leave the dock from Big Water Marina and travel by pontoon boat to a remote island of Lake Hartwell. Activities will include boating, tubing, fishing, swimming, island exploration (and maybe some mud castle building!). If you plan to fish, a GA or SC freshwater fishing license is required for anyone 16 years of age or older.HEALTH FORM:All participants (Scouts & Adults) on this campout are REQUIRED to have a complete health form on file, including Parts A, B1 & B2, and a copy of the front and back of the health insurance card.TRANSPORTATION:We need at least 5-7 ADULTS to drive ScoutsTRAILER PULLER:We need 1 Adult to pull the trailerScouts from Troop 370 should always travel in Class A uniformsMEALS:All meals will be planned at the Wednesday campout planning meeting using the patrol method.ADULT PARTICIPATION:We need 5-7 adults to attend this campout and help drive scouts, camp setup & meal prep.Adults must be current with Youth Protection certification. This course may be taken online at www.scouting.org/training/​adult.FEE:Scouts: $80Adults: $45Scholarships are always available for our camping trips.
