The troop has reserved 25 spots for a rock-climbing adventure on natural rock face at Cherokee Rock Village www.cherokeerockvillage.com located in Leesburg, AL. This is a premier mountain top climbing location with spectacular view of Weiss Lake. Join us as a climber or just a camper to enjoy this 200-acre park. Climbers and Non-Climbers are welcome on this campout. We will be led by certified guides from Atlanta Rock Climbing Company www.atlantarockclimbing.com. The guide service will provide all necessary climbing equipment. We will be car camping at Cherokee Rock Village which has full restroom and shower facilities. This is a good campout for all scouts and adults to experience a weekend of scouting with Troop 370.
*We need 8-10 adults to attend this campout and help drive scouts. Climbing is optional for adults but encouraged. As of Sept. 1, 2023, all Adults must be a member of Scouts BSA. This is a new BSA requirement which includes a background check. In addition to being a registered with BSA, Adults must be current with Youth Protection certification.
