Paddling and exploring the Okefenokee Swamp is a Troop 370 experience you won't want to miss.
The weekend's itinerary:
- FRIDAY: Camp 1 night at High Falls State Park
- SATURDAY / SUNDAY: Camp 2 nights at Okefenokee Pasttimes
- SATURDAY AFTERNOON: Fishing, Disc Golf, Bike rental options,
- SUNDAY: Group canoe
- MONDAY: Return to Atlanta

**Scouts should travel to/from every campout in Class A uniforms! **
DEPARTURE TIME: Friday, Jan 17, 2024, 5:30 pm
RETURN TIME: Monday, Jan 20, 2025, 4:00 pm
*Plan for cold weather camping.
**Closed toe shoes are required**No Flip Flops**. January temperatures can vary considerably, particularly on and near the water. Bring warm clothes as well as shorts, zipoff pants, long sleeve sunshirt, fleece, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses & water bottle and plan to dress accordingly for a variety of weather conditions.
TRANSPORTATION: We need at least 8-10 ADULTS to drive Scouts
TRAILER PULLER: We need 1 Adult to pull the trailer
**Scouts from Troop 370 should always travel in Class A uniforms**
MEALS: All meals will be planned at the Wednesday campout planning meeting using the patrol method.
ADULT PARTICIPATION: We need 8-10 adults to attend this campout and help drive scouts. As of Sept. 1, 2023, all Adults must be a member of Scouts BSA. This is a new BSA requirement which includes a background check. In addition to being a registered with BSA, Adults must be current with Youth Protection certification. This course may be taken online at www.scouting.org/training/adult.If you are unsure if you are a registered adult. Login into https://my.scouting.org/home. Then click "my profile" in the upper right hand corner. Then scroll down to "registrations".
FEE: Scouts: $135 Adults: $75
ADDITIONAL TRAVEL MONEY: Please bring money for snacks & meals while traveling to and from the campout.
