Please join some of Troop 370’s adult leaders on May 15 for an introduction to “how things work” in Troop 370. The presentation will be based on the New Parent Handbook that can be found under the Information/Forms and Documents menu tabs on the Troop’s website (troop370atlanta.org). In addition to discussing the adult and youth leadership structure, patrols, campouts and high adventure opportunities, our adults will also provide a brief overview of how the advancement process works in our Troop (and Scouts BSA generally), including the rank requirements, Scoutmaster Conferences and Boards of Review, merit badges and strategies for supporting the Scout’s advancement efforts, including summer camp.
