My name is Jamie Hernquist. I plan to do an Eagle Scout project workday for my project removing invasive species from the Land O’ Lakes area of the Blue Heron Nature Preserve.
Food and drinks will be provided, and gloves and tools will be available. There will be Halloween candy!
Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves and wear clothing suitable for outdoor work such as long pants and sleeves.
The address is 3931 Land O Lakes Dr NE, Atlanta, GA 30342. Parking is curbside, there is no parking lot at this location.
The project will take place at 12 noon on November 1st. It will last until 5:00 PM or when the invasive species have been removed.
