My name is Jamie Hernquist. I plan to do my second Eagle Scout project workday for my project on January 10th. This time we will be planting 20 native understory trees in the Land O’ Lakes area of the Blue Heron Nature Preserve.
Food and drinks will be provided, and gloves and tools will be available.
Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves and wear clothing suitable for outdoor work such as long pants and sleeves. Make sure to also bring a water bottle!
The address is 3931 Land O Lakes Dr NE, Atlanta, GA 30342. Parking is curbside, there is no parking lot at this location.
The project will take place at 9:00 AM on January 10th. It will last until 12:00 PM or when the tree planting has been completed.
