Pick up begins on Wednesday - Camp Cards are HERE!
Selling Camp Cards is a great way to help fund scout’s camping adventures and also help support our council and their amazing programs (like Camp Woodruff !) What is a camp card? They are discount cards that are sold for $10 but offer obvious savings to the buyer of many times that amount. In our troop, a scout purchases the cards up front from the Camp Card Rep (me) for $5.25 per card, which goes to the Council to help fund their annual budget. The scout then turns around and sells the card to the public for $10 and retains the $4.75 profit for scout related use (summer camp, high adventure, equipment, etc.) If, at the close of the sale in late April a scout retains unsold (and unbroken) Camp Cards, we refund the $5.25 per card original outlay.
How do you get yours? Please Venmo or PayPal the troop (as you would pay for a campout, etc) and include your scout's name and the amount of cards wanted in the memo line. Then, send me the screen shot or email receipt for your order (404-319-0176 or kate.kauffman@gmail.com). I’ll have the Camp Cards ready for you at the following Wednesday meeting.
There are additional incentives for those selling 20 or more cards starting with a patch and going all the way up to $500 Amazon gift card for those who sell more than 1,000 cards. You’ll get more info when you receive your cards.
